Company Delta Holding has received the award for corporate volunteering during the international conference on responsible business CSR Forum.

This year’s award has been given to the companies which encouraged their employees to help in relieving the consequences of May floods.

More than 200 Delta Holding employees volunteered by collecting the information about needs of the flood-stricken, making sandwiches, delivering foodstuffs, cleaning the school and houses in Obrenovac, advising farmers whose crops and animals were in danger and offering psychological help to displaced citizens.

The award for corporate volunteering was established in 2011 in honour of the European Volunteering Year, when it was granted in 23 countries throughout Europe.
