Today “Delta Holding” has sent a shipment of aid consisting of bottled water and food cans to the people hard-hit by the flooding in the Republic Srpska. The shipment from factories “Mioni” and “Yuhor” will be handed over to the Crisis Headquarters in Bijeljina.

Delta Holding danas je uputio kontigent pomoći, šleper vode i konzervi, stanovništvu ugroženom u poplavama u Republici Srpskoj. Pošiljka iz fabrika Mioni i Yuhor biće predata kriznom štabu u Bijeljini.

Since in the past few days the deficiency of underwear and socks has been emphasized on many occasions, “Delta Sport” has donated 5.000 items to Red Cross. “Delta Sport” has also donated 270 pairs of sports shoes and 580 items of clothing to the Institute, Shelter and Centre in Dom in Sremcica, which also serves as a collection centre.

Hotel Crowne Plaza has continued helping with its food donations but also allowing its guests to send a text message to charity number 1003 instead of paying coffee. Delta Transport System (DTS) has put its vehicles at the disposal of the City Headquarters of Belgrade as well as its five workers who are volunteering non-stop in the Headquarters.

We would like to emphasize that the total sum collected from one-day wages of al “Delta holding” employees will be paid into the specific-purpose account of the Government of Serbia with the aim of relieving consequences of the floods.

So far “Delta holding” has sent the aid worth 90.000 euros. The company will keep monitoring the needs of the people and institutions and do its best to alleviate the difficult situation our country is in.
